Electrolysis
Electrolysis at our Rathfarnham clinic offers permanent hair removal, treating each hair individually. It suits all hair and skin types, including the fine, light and grey hair that light-based methods like IPL cannot treat.
A very fine probe is guided into the natural opening of each follicle, and a tiny current is applied to disable it at the root. Because it works follicle by follicle rather than by targeting pigment, electrolysis is the one method recognised as permanent for every hair and skin colour.
It is ideal for smaller, precise areas and for the stubborn hairs other methods leave behind, such as on the face, brows and chin. It is also a good option if your hair is too fair or fine for laser or IPL.
Hair grows in cycles, so a course gives the best results, and sessions are available individually or as a course of six. Your therapist will talk you through what to expect and recommend a plan that suits your hair and skin.
