Rathfarnham Beauty Clinic offers Ellipse Skin Rejuvenation, an FDA-approved treatment that uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to improve the look of the skin without surgery or downtime.
IPL delivers gentle, controlled pulses of light that are absorbed by pigment and by the tiny blood vessels behind redness. The light is converted to heat, which breaks down sun spots and calms the diffuse redness of rosacea, while encouraging the skin to renew itself.
Ellipse Skin Rejuvenation suits all forms of sun damage, ageing skin, rosacea, and the redness and marks left by acne. Over a course of treatments the skin tends to look clearer, more even in tone and fresher.
An experienced therapist carries out every treatment. Because light-based treatments have to be matched to your skin and hair, we start with a consultation and patch test so we can plan safely and set out an expected course. Sessions are quick, and most people describe a mild, warm snapping sensation.
