Laser Hair Removal
Rathfarnham Beauty Clinic offers FDA-approved Ellipse Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) hair removal, a safe, expert-led way to reduce unwanted hair on the face and body.
Ellipse IPL uses short, controlled bursts of light from a flash-lamp. The pigment in the hair absorbs that light and converts it to heat, which damages the follicle so it can no longer produce new hair. Because the light targets the pigment, the energy is focused on the hair rather than the surrounding skin.
Hair grows in cycles, and IPL works on hair that is in its active growing phase, so a course of treatments spaced a few weeks apart is needed for lasting results. Over the course the hair grows back finer, slower and patchier until there is little left.
We start with a consultation and patch test so we can match the settings to your skin and hair and plan safely. Most clients describe a mild snapping sensation, and there is no real downtime. Your therapist will outline the number of sessions you are likely to need.
Book a consultation online, or call the clinic on Main Street, Rathfarnham Village, Dublin 14.
A consultation and patch test is required before your first treatment.
